A typical advance solar powered pumping system consists of a solar panel array that powers an electric motor, which in turn powers a bore or surface pump. The water is often pumped from the ground or stream into a storage tank that provides a gravity feed, so energy storage is not needed for these systems.
Solar pumping systems can be applied to daily water use (ground water), agricultural irrigation, forestry irrigation, desert control, pasture animal husbandry, water supply for islands, wastewater treatment engineering, and so on. This solar pumping system dispensed energy storing devices, and stores water instead of electricity. It improves the reliability of the device. At the same time, it reduces the construction and maintenance costs of the system dramatically.
